If I move this range slightly to the left...
After seeing things like this graph make top spot on reddit's [programming] section, I've pretty much had enough. But where can I go now? Is there a place with less suck? Luckily the science section came through with an explanation. Fitting, I guess.

It's dangerous for this new type of semi-educated internet savvy person. In an age where truly smart developers have created tools for their equally talented counterparts in different professions. It is tempting to label such tools with warnings, something like rear view mirrors on cars.

"But where can I go now? Is there a place with less suck?"Try hacker news (news.ycombinator.com) if you haven't already. It's gone downhill a lot over the last few months, but it's still a fair bit better than reddit.

Terrill, I agree. It drives me crazy when people only look at one small part of the big picture, or try to prove that that correlation implies causation. This example is especially bad, as the iphone announcement came only a few weeks before. If you ever have the time to take another class, I'd highly suggest you take PHIL 145 (Critical Thinking).. great class (offered DE as well). It's more or less on looking and exploring different fallacies and biases. It's pretty easy, but you take a lot more out of it than what you put in.PS. I'm also using this post to test if you've implemented new lines in comments yet..

"Is there a place with less suck?"I used to read digg.com for the longest time, but found that it really went downhill. Now I just use an RSS reader to check all the news blogs I care about (engadget, gizmodo, etc).Speaking of RSS... there doesn't appear to be one that I can subscribe to here... ;)
